Signed the Contract

Offically start my OL life today.

2 days of orientation to endure.

Thanks to F1, take cab there oso must walk very far!!

Got to know some interesting people.

Had good food from Aquamarine.

Rather shiok as not need to report to office at all.

But rather sian to play those lame games too.

Hope payday come sooner!

Hong Kong 15Sep08-19Sep08

Planned a very last minute trip to Hong Kong. With Jetstar 1/2 price promo, we bought return tickets at about S$330 per pax! This time round we stay in a hostel in Mirador Mansion that cost like S$100 each for the stay. Definitely an experience but mr tan misses tatami hampton (it reopened after being seized by a bank). Budget budget budget!

Not much pics for this trip though. Busy walking around shopping for stuffs instead. Shall note some places for shopping!

Day 1:
Took City Flyer A21 to TST. This bus brings you to MongKok all the way down nathan road to TST. Wun miss your stop as the led panel display the location of each stop. Bus guide: http://www.nwstbus.com.hk/routes/routeinfo.aspx?intLangID=1&searchtype=1&daytime=3&route=A21&routetype=D&company=5


A21 cost HKD$33 each. About S$6 nia!

Reached Mirador after a 30mins bus ride. At least the entrance is not as bad as compared to ChunKing. The lifts serve odd and even floors, gotta pick the right one if not gotta ride the stairs.


I must say Mirador does look creepy like this!


Our small double room with toilet. Left side is a single bed while right is a double! Dunno why but their beds are freaking small size -.-"


2 doors, 1 for bathroom, 1 to get out of the room. Small eh? The TV sucks, nothing to watch, too tired to watch oso =p

Went Mirama den Citygate to shop. http://www.citygateoutlets.com.hk/index.html The mall got all sort of outlet shops. The biggest esprit outlet in HK is there too but I bought nothing. Lots of sports brand there too. Basically past season stuff selling at a slightly lower price. Cannot say cheap. Spent the whole day there, bought water and snacks before heading back to rest! Slept damn early cos din sleep the night before =p


Day 2:
Travelled to Wan Chai to pass the bak gua to his cousin. Den walked downwards to queens road central for H&M! Spent a wooping S$200 bucks there! Bought OL clothes etc. Can faint! Then took mtr to causeway bay for more shopping! Lee theater and times square. Bougth tees from Uniqlo. Shopped along the streets hunting for DBS atm. Spent all my money -.-" Withdrew HK$500 but HKD$300 went to Mi-Ne Sushi! But Mi-Ne is yummylicious, worth it. Got to hunt for DBS again in TST! Swipe my CC for adidas shoes thats cost me S$150. ~.~ Next stop mongkok, shopping the streets, night markets and eating street food. Finally know how to order the cold noodles with more ingredients to eat. He bought chinese chess and I bought bomberman DS pen for HKD$10, no quality one lol. Been looking for it but SG sell S$5. Back to hostel with krispy creme and achey legs~

Day3:
Woke up late, went the wrong way searching for the ferry terminal to Macau. We made it in the end though. Spend the whole day in macau.



Macau streets are damn chio! It like you are walking in a mall but you are actually on the streets.

Cab to Taipo where The Venetien is located. Very nice place. Din manage to find any DBS so we were exteremly poor when we reach macau. Enuff money to take the ferry back to HK only!

Last ferry to kowloon ends at 830pm. We hang around the casino, learn to play casino style blackjack. Damn chim la, still must buy insurance. Walked ard the place before taking the shuttle back to the ferry terminal. Took ferry to HK island since no more ferry to kowloon den MTR back to TST. Ate yummy maggie mee and veggie for supper at some cha chan ting across the street before proceeding with our DBS hunt.

Day 4:
Granville road is a shopping heaven for cosmetic stuff! These fashion stuff too there. Bought 66pcs of mask at S$0.40 each and skinfood bbcream (mushroom) at S$22 <--mushroom cost ard S$60++ at normal skinfood outlet man! They got perfume, cosmetics etc, everything you need from head to toe. good place to stock up! Then went slivercord to shop for his streetwear. There's a whole row of egg machines to turn for toys. They got DS pen there too! But I dun need more since i bought from nu ren jie. In the end I dipped my coins in for 2 gloomy paw! Both white color =( How nice if it was pink. Went back to central to see if there is anything more to buy from H&M, we walk around and went up the mid-level esclator. Super tired walking the steepy downslop man. Ate yoshinoya for lunch and dinner cos can try luck to win xbox.

Day 5:
Woke early to prepare for check out. Last day and it was raining!! The last few days weather was warm like nobody business. We went to try their mac breakfast. Not very nice lehz. Drag the luggage to mirama den to langham place for final shopping. Since i had more then enuff money, went muji to buy stationary! He bought Lacoste wallet den we sat at langham hotel before catching A21 to HKIA T2. Also cost HKD$33.

Flight back to SG. The plane was 3/4 full only! Room space!! Played chinese chess to kill time.

P/S: Im bankrupt after this trip~ Shopping and food cost ard $700+ Got to earn money le =( If you are wondering why Im hunting for DBS, cos withdraw money using local DBS atm card no need to pay service fee (usually about S$5 per txn) but incurr forex only. So can withdraw smaller amt without having excess HKD =p The rate at about 5.2 to 5.3 so not really bad.

tekong round 2~

Went to attend dear's POP. Step into tekong alone again but this time got other ninja's parents chit chat with me so not as bored. But still sat there for 3hrs before the actual event starts ~.~

Sat in the auditorium watching mr bean before they transferred us to the parade square. Nice weather no sun! Waiting for it to start...

Now there they are... Me and the aunties were trying to make out where my bf and there son is. Cos they know their son's standing position, they went like "that one that one", "eh no lehz dun look like", "that skinny one!!", "that super white one" lol~ damn funny! I dun know his position and im pak jiao ~.~ felt kinda lost.

Lucky me, his position is easy to spot. Place the cap on his head for him. He has free flow of sweat.

We are going home! =D

Happy Day!~ The aunties perks me lol! Stinky Recruit Tan level up to Private Tan! Yippe!
PS: I realised I smelt like tekong when i reach home. the stench is eew.
